I am a native speaker of American English, fluent in Polish. I have extensive experience translating for Poland's biggest museums and galleries. The texts generally refer to art or academia, but I also specialise in the translation of legal contracts (especially in regard to copyrights), films, books/catalogs. I am also a proofreader and editor.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Studies (thesis: “A (post)Feminist Reading of Lorrie Moore’s “You’re Ugly, Too” and Other Selected Fiction”) as well as a Master's Degree in Cultural Anthropology, my fieldwork was carried out in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest and regarded symbolism and perception amid and between the indigenous of the region and tourists. (thesis: "A Sacred Exchange? An Ethnographic Study on How Shipibo Ayahuasca Culture is Experienced and Interpreted by the Westerner")

At the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, I have had experience translating significant artistic texts, e.g., curatorial texts (including texts of eminent artists such as: Maurizio Cattelan, Artur Żmijewski, Sharon Lockhart, Natalia LL, etc.).
